The mountain

La Thuile sits at 1,441 m at the Italian foot of the Little St Bernard Pass, a former mining village facing the Mont Blanc massif across the valley. A gondola from the village climbs to Les Suches at 2,200 m, where the ski area proper begins and fans out over about 79 km of piste to a high point of 2,608 m. Lifts over the pass connect to La Rosière in France to make up the cross-border Espace San Bernardo, but that link opens later than the resort itself: the operator gives 12 December 2026 for the international connection against 28 November for La Thuile's own lifts.
Tickets, passes and lessons are sold by the resort itself - we link, we don't resell.
