Corvara sits at 1,568 m in South Tyrol, at the foot of the Sassongher and the Sella massif, and is one of the villages on the Sella Ronda, the lift circuit around the Sella that Alta Badia measures at 39.6 km. From the village the Boè gondola climbs to 2,198 m, where the Vallon chairlift carries on to 2,526 m, the highest lift here, and the Col Alto gondola opens onto the Pralongià plateau shared with La Villa and San Cassiano. Corvara's lifts are not a sector that can be counted apart from their neighbours, so the figures here cover Alta Badia as a whole: about 110 km of graded piste on 51 lifts on OpenSkiMap, roughly two thirds of it blue. Alta Badia itself markets 130 km and 54 lifts, a count that includes the Lagazuoi cable car above the Falzarego Pass, and the Dolomiti Superski pass that covers it is sold as 1,200 km across twelve valleys.
